Caring For You

We support adults and elderly clients who require support at home with personal care, meal preparation, assistance in taking medications and companionship. By using an outcomes-focused approach; we aim to achieve the goals and priorities identified by the individual clients. On our first meeting, we will get to know you and discuss your needs and from this, we will personalise your care plan. This is a working document that you will be involved with from the outset and will be informed by regular reviews.

We are registered with the Care Inspectorate under the Regulation of Care Scotland Act (2001) and as such are subject to annual inspection to ensure we are meeting the required standards and above. As a company, we aim for an 'outstanding' status. We follow the new Health & Social Care Standards My support, my life, which ensures everyone receives care and support that is right for them.

These standards seek to provide better outcomes for supported people, drive improvement and encourage new innovative ways of working. All our staff are registered with or are in the process of registering with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and work to the codes of practice set out by this regulatory body.

At Contrast Care, we go through a rigorous selection process in line with the Scottish Government's guidelines Safer Recruitment through Better Recruitment (2016). We believe in values based recruitment to employ staff most suited to the company values. It is important to us that our team are happy and this is evident through our exceptional retention rates.
